KINARI
For years, we travelled throughout Japan to build the Flâneurs selection, searching for garments that tell a story. Along the way, we met workshops and manufacturers whose craftsmanship we deeply admire. Over time, some of these relationships grew into genuine collaborations.
Kinari was born from this.
The name comes from the Japanese word 生成り (Kinari), which refers to the natural colour of a fibre before it has been bleached or dyed. A simple, authentic state that reflects the way we think about clothing.
With Kinari, we wanted to go beyond selecting garments. We wanted to create our own pieces, drawing on the years of experience gained through Flâneurs and on the relationships of trust we have built with the workshops that make them.
Each collection is developed around fabrics we have come to know, manufacturing techniques we have discovered throughout our travels, and thoughtful details designed to stand the test of time.
We believe the finest garments are those that live and evolve with time. That is the story we imagine for every piece in our collections.
